The 7th Annual Richard Ellis Memorial Golf Tournament
The Digby Area Health Service Charitable Foundation held the 7th Annual Richard Ellis Memorial Golf Tournament on Thursday June 23, 2022 at the Digby Pines Golf Course.

The sun shone down, allowing for a beautiful day on the course! 24 teams took part in the tournament including putting challenges, longest drive, closest to the hole and a-hole in one contest.

Afterwards, the golfers attended a dinner followed by a live and silent auction. We would like to thank our special guests Katie Verrette and Len Hawley for attending.
$17,000 was raised at this years tournament, that will go to the purchase of a new patient lift and low-rise procurity bed for the Digby General Hospital.

Thank you to all the teams and sponsors for your continued support of the DAHSCF as we strive to maintain present and future health services in the Digby Community.

Thank you to our volunteers who helped make this event possible! Plans are already in motion for the 8th Annual in June 2023.
Areas in which the DAHSCF is focused include annual scholarships for medical doctors, nurses and health practitioners; community programs such as the Digby Area Recreation and Digby Area Seniors’ Safety Society; equipment purchases for the Digby General Hospital; creation of a new Community Navigator employment opportunity.
